JAKARTA. PT Bank Yudha Bhakti Tbk (BYB) consistently gives appreciation to its customers. In addition to providing optimal banking services, this bank also presents appreciation in other forms. The appreciation was given by distributing gift packages to retired debtors. A total of 8,040 gifts were distributed by Bank Yudha Bhakti to debtors loyal to the company's services.
The gift giving which was a compassion program was carried out after the celebration of Indul Fitri 1441 H starting from May 26, 2020 in all of the company's branch offices. Appreciation like this is routinely done by Bank Yudha Bhakti every year.
Gift packages are usually given before Eid along with the distribution of Holiday Benefits (THR). However, this year the concept was made different as a form of surprise for retired customers amid the pressure of the Covid-19 pandemic. THR is distributed before Lebaran and gift packages are given after Lebaran. The THR for the retired customer that was released by Bank Yudha Bhakti was previously Rp. 86.5 billion and paid to 34,310 debtors to welcome Eid.
Bank Yudha Bhakti hopes that the gift package that is presented can be a blessing and encouragement for customers amidst restrictions on activities outside the home during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, BYB is also processing a plan to increase capital through a rights issue in the framework of the company upgrading to the Commercial Bank Business Group (BUKU) II this year.
The rights issue process has entered the second stage of registration preparation to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) after on May 11, 2020 the first registration was made. Submission of the second registration will take place within 10 working days after BYB receives OJK's response, on the first registration on May 26, 2020. Therefore, BYB believes that the effective right issue will occur before June 25, 2020. Through the right issue, BYB is aiming for fresh funds Rp 396.1 billion from the corporate action.
